Honorary Fellow Dr. William Weir and DwME Associate Mrs. Linda Campbell will be attending the Queen’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on the 25th May 2022 to receive the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service on behalf of partner organisation Hope 4 ME & Fibro Northern Ireland. We proudly extend our many congratulations for this well deserved recognition.
Dr. William Weir is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases, Medical Advisor to Hope 4 ME & Fibro Northern Ireland and was a member of the NICE ME/CFS Guideline Development Committee.
Mrs. Linda Campbell is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She is Chair and Healthcare Professional Educational Advisor to Hope 4 ME & Fibro Northern Ireland.
Hope 4 ME & Fibro Northern Ireland is a patient charity that has worked tirelessly since their inception in 2011 to educate healthcare professionals on ME, with their latest achievement being an educational webinar series that is now available to all health care professionals on Northern Ireland’s Health and Social Care Clinical Education Centre website.
They are also distributing copies of Doctors with M.E.’s NICE summary guidance for GPs to doctors in Northern Ireland.
